European equities open softer on the day

European equity markets are down in early trading at the open - 15 Dec 2017 This follows a similar tune in Asia again as I reiterate, where the Nikkei, CSI 300, Shanghai Composite, and even Australia's ASX 200 closed lower today. The Hang Seng index is also down by 1.03% on the day.
